Part 2: Our Housewarming Cookie Party + Free Printables
On Monday, you may have noticed some of the sweet printables featured in our Cookie Exchange party set-up. Today is Part 2, and it's your lucky day if you want to host your own cookie swap because I'm offering up all of those fun files free to download for personal use!
Friday will still bring you our menu complete with the awesomely easy recipe for two varieties of Cookie Dough Dip so be sure to check in for that at the end of the week.
Before we get to your free printables, you have to see the fun that was had with cookie box decorating. Here's a quick look at some of the amazing art our friends pulled together for their cookie totes. Be sure to see "The Lord of the Cookies: There and Fat Again" created by an artist extraordinaire inspired by LOTR and the Hobbit...
THE BOXES
The boxes we used are Gable Boxes in a 9x9x5" size. Ours were from Amazon but I'd recommend ordering a case from Bags & Bows instead as I think their quality is better. Gable Boxes are super versatile, relative inexpensive, and really striking. On top of it, they come in many different colors and patterns. For our purposes, we chose white as it was a perfect blank canvas.
THE TEMPLATES
All templates are PDF and designed to print on 8.5x11 sheets of paper. For the stickers, be sure to use an adhesive paper - like Staples brand Sticker Paper.
To download the file, right-click on each of the below images to open them in a new tab to open them from DropBox. These files are free for personal use but please do not use them commercially or without credit back to anniemade.
Printable Flags
I've included the ones we used as well as multiple blank ones that you can add white text to or hand write with a white paint pen. To create the flags, print the below template on white cardstock and attach to paper straws of your choosing with tape (we even used Painter's tape). Simple as that!
Printable Stickers (2 Templates)
These are great for your guests to decorate their boxes and personalize them. Print these on adhesive paper (such as Staples-brand sticker paper), cut, and offer up for your artists to play with.
Hot Chocolate Bar Sign
Create your own Hot Chocolate Bar sign just by printing this template on white cardstock.
Welcome Sign
Add this to your front door to let people know where the cookies are hiding. Perfect to print on white cardstock.
Om Nom Nom Signs
The perfect final touch to any cookie party - a set of three signs to print on white cardstock. We placed ours on our living room wall easily using painter's tape.
So that's how the cookie crumbles. Be sure to me know if you plan to enjoy these at your own cookie party! On that note, see you Friday for the sweet finale of Housewarming Week.
